A few days ago, the 6th Technical Conference of Shuanglin Company was successfully held in Shanghai Qingpu headquarters. The Conference, themed with "Leading with Technology · Manufacturing with Intelligence," made a comprehensive summary on the technical innovation work of the Company in the past year.

This Conference was hosted by Shuanglin's Technical Committee, and relevant leaders of the Company were invited. Also, more than 70 people, including Gu Xiaoying, General Manager of the Company and Director of the Company's Technical Committee, Members of the Company's Technical Committee, as well as Members and Technical Representatives from the technical committees of various divisions, have attended the Conference.

At this Technical Conference, the technical directors of each division made a summary report on the technical innovation in 2018 and a strategic plan for technical development. In general, all divisions made fruitful achievements in technical innovation work in 2018, and put forward clear strategies for future technical development. This Conference enabled communication and learning among different divisions, which benefited the participants a lot.

▍Achievement Awards

After the selection of the Company's Technical Committee:

6 proposals, including the "Application of Intelligent Scientific Injection Molding," "High Precision Blade Technology" and "Development of NX Mold Design Software" by the Auto Accessories Division; the "Aluminum Rail Technology" by the Auto Electromechanical Division; the "Improvement Technology of the 3rd Generation of Hub Bearing" by the New Torch; and the "Development of SEA175 Bridge System" by Electronic R&D Center, won the Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards at this Conference.Another 12 proposals won the Outstanding Technical Achievement Finalists at this Conference.

▍Special Recognition

Ten years ago, the 1st technical conference of Shuanglin was held. During this decade, many outstanding technical R&D talents have emerged in Shuanglin. This year's Conference established the "Special Contribution Award" and Du Linxin from the Electromechanical Division won this honor upon the nomination of the Division's Technical Committee.

In order to commend Du Linxin, the senior engineer, for his great contribution to Shuanglin, Gu Xiaoying, General Manager of the Company and Director of the Company's Technical Committee, presented him with "Special Contribution Award" and the letter of appointment for "Experts".

Du linxin has been a modest and knowledgeable senior engineer. Since joining Shuanglin in 2001, he has made outstanding contributions to the Company's new technology innovation, new material research, new process application, experimental testing, new projects and new product research and development, and has cultivated a batch of outstanding technical personnel for Shuanglin.

▍Talent Cultivation 

Zhou Min from the Technical Quality Department introduced the qualification standards of technology R&D sequence

In order to provide a promoting channel for Shuanglin's vast number of technical R&D personnel, reflect the importance and cultivation of technicians, and meanwhile play a leading role in the Company's technical development, the Human Resources Center and Technical Quality Department of the Company initiated the formulation of qualification standards for the Company's technology R&D sequence positions since November 2018. At this Technical Conference, Zhou Min from the Technical Quality Department, on behalf of the project team, reported to the guests on the qualifications of the technical research and development sequence.

▍Divisions' Speeches

During the Conference, Qian Xueming, General Manager of the Electromechanical Division; Liu Xudong, General Manager of the Auto Accessories Division; and Ge Haian, General Manager of New Torch Company, made important speeches. All the general managers of each division stressed the importance of technical innovation for the business development of the Company, and excellency in technical management was the focus of the daily management work of each division. Moreover, more technical personnel were encouraged to make greater contributions to their positions.

Gu Xiaoying, General Manager of the Company and Director of the Company's Technical Committee made a concluding statement at the Conference, proposing to build up high-quality technical management, standardize the technical development process, and select high-quality customers. He also emphasized that "three orientations" should be followed for technical management: market customer orientation, cost orientation and issue orientation, and technology development direction should be determined by analyzing market segments.
